Ethics and aesthetics: Moral warnings by different women artists

Abstract

The present article shows a study about women evolution and participation in the development of artistic activities within the framework of woman condition strides in society and culture. Generally speaking, artist women leave their feminine trace in the works and master pieces they create, and sometimes they send a message related to gender equality, which involves an advance in the ethic vision of the world. Women fight to abandon their secondary and minor role, and their efforts to make their plastic creations visible are nowadays still present as a consequence of historical evolution dynamics. These types of actions have enabled to make improvements concerning women conditions at different professional fields. At the same time, talent has been understood as something not directly related to gender and sexuality. This has been used as a starting point to deconstruct and analyze aspects and values intrinsic to the creative capability of human beings and as something completely independent to their social, cultural or sexual condition.
